Draft placeholder — pending legal reviewOverview
Aviatrack is an operational platform used by flight departments to plan flights, track crew duty and rest, and maintain execution records. This page describes, in general terms, what information the platform handles and how it is used. It is a placeholder pending review by your organization's legal counsel and should not be treated as a finalized policy.
Information we handle
- Account details issued by your organization's administrator (user ID, role, assigned module).
- Flight, crew, duty, and rest records entered by your organization for operational and regulatory purposes.
- Basic session and access logs used to keep the platform secure and reliable.
How information is used
Data entered into Aviatrack is used to operate the features your organization relies on — flight planning, crew compliance checks against applicable Civil Aviation Requirements, execution records, and reporting. Aviatrack does not sell or share organizational data with third parties outside of what your organization has configured (for example, connected systems such as an SMS or FDTL module).
Access and security
Access is scoped to your organization and role. Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing, not in plain text, and sessions are protected against unauthorized reuse.
Data retention
Operational and compliance records are retained for as long as your organization requires them for regulatory and operational purposes. Your administrator can advise on your organization's specific retention practice.
Questions
For questions about this policy or the data your organization holds in Aviatrack, see the Contact page.
